So Why Adventure1?
Credibility, professionalism, excitement, fun and safety! Whether joining for personal skill, development or to pursue an instructional career, Adventure1 instructors will employ up to date methods of teaching in order that clients assimilate easily from the outset.
Adventure1 is run by an ex Special Air Service soldier and Army Physical Training Corps Officer, his team consists of ex Army Physical Training Corps and Royal Signals officers, who have lead many expeditions, have a wide range of National qualifications and have commanded the Ministry of Defence leading outdoor centres. Our guides and instructors are very experienced and most have been tried and tested through the Ministry of Defence to high standards of coaching and teaching, so most of our courses result in the award of national governing body qualifications; some, internationally recognised.

As family members ourselves, we take care in choosing the right venues and activity levels to suit your requirements and we will advise where appropriate on your chosen itinerary if it is too easy or too difficult depending on weather conditions, ground situation or your particular stage in skill. We have both life long teachers and trainers from both civilian and military backgrounds all of whom have occupied key positions in management and training capacities. With over 30 years of conducting activities for youths, we have just the right approach to training and you’ll get the most out of our programmes. There is a strict monitoring and mentoring process in place, which is run in tandem with group and school leaders, ensuring a positive outcome whether it be in a training or pastoral capacity. How We Run Our Courses
All of our courses are conducted with fun, quality assurance safety. We are interested in keeping loved ones informed of the well being and progress of those close to them, therefore we are always at hand. There is a strict monitoring and mentoring process in place and friendly direction is always given in areas of uncertainty, whether it be in a training or pastoral capacity.
